Lennart Grut is the director in charge of overseeing the management of most the practice’s projects outside the UK as well as the RSHP offices in Spain and Japan. His role includes organising and managing multidisciplinary teams in multi-lingual environments to ensure delivery of projects within a wide variety of cost and time constraints, while respecting the exacting quality and environmental standards set by the practice.
He has particular expertise in the planning and design of major airport projects and has been director in charge of Terminal 5, Heathrow Airport, London as well as Terminal 4, Barajas Airport, Madrid, winner of the 2006 Stirling Prize. More recently he has been involved in setting up the practices new work in Mexico, Lebanon and China as well helping maintain a continued presence in Europe, in particular Italy and France.
Lennart oversees the Digital Design, IT and Communications departments at the practice.
