The construction of the Channel 4 Headquarters was completed within 22 months. However, the technical areas were handed over to the client just 13 months into the construction programme, in order for them to commence their technical fit-out. This allowed Channel 4 to go ‘on-air’ immediately after the building was completed. The building is concrete framed with secondary features including steel towers, cladding, lifts and stairs, providing architectural and construction clarity.
